Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to become a Mechanical engineer so I choose mechanical engineering. In NIT RAIPUR the faculty: student ratio is 1:15(approx). All faculty members are p.hd holders in their respective fields. In this college semester exam is divided into two parts after starting of the semester in two months you will give mid sem exam and after that, in last, you will give end sem exam.
Internships Opportunities
in NIT RAIPUR companies like Adobe give internships for the role of software developer and core companie like tata motors give the role of manufacturing engineer and DRDO gives the role of a research scholar.
Placement Experience
NIT RAIPUR provides campus placement for their students and the students of 7th semester are eligible for campus placement and the student of 5th semester are eligible for internships. The companies which are visiting the campus is tata steel, Vedanta limited, Capgemini, adobe and many more companies. the no. of offers which are given to students are 685. ther percentage of students get placed are 82%.
Fees and Financial Aid
In this college fees will be taken on the basis of category and financial basis if you are from a general category student having a family income of more than 5lakhs per annum then you will have to give 75000 rs per semester and if you belong to sc, st and gen-news then will have to give only 15600 rupees per semester.in college, scholarship is given on the basis of the financial crisis. Some scholarship names are Sharman foundation scholarship, dr. k k Gandhi scholarship, smt. sugandhi devi hablani scholarship.
Campus Life
This college has a problem with hostels the hostel seats are 75% reserved for other state students therefore many students do not get hostel. In NIT RAIPUR many fests are conducted the annual cultural fest is held in the month of February and the annual tech fest is conducted in the month of January. For sports, there is another sports fest is which named Samar which is held in the month of January. This college has many clubs like Technocracy (the technical club), shaurya (the sports club), robotics club, and Sanskriti (the cultural club).
Admission
For admission to this college, you will have to give jee mains in which you got AIR and category rank if you are eligible and after that, you will apply for josaa councelling in which you got this college and the branch you preferred in this college.
