Remarks
The timings and attendance is the issue. The college timings are 9 to 5 daily from Monday to Friday. We get two weekends Saturday and Sunday.
Entrance Preview
The college takes admission from JEE and also from its own entrance examinations. Since my score was more than 80% in 12th I was eligible for the direct interview process. I was asked why I want to join Amity University and also the reason for choosing cse as my stream.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college course includes French, Behavior Science and minor subject as additional subjects apart from the usual subjects which any other collage or University have. The students have to submit term paper during 4th semester and also have to undergo 2 internships for engineering courses. In the 8th semester the students have to submit a project.
Internships Opportunities
It is compulsory to go for internships after the end of 4 sem and also after the end of 6 sem. The students have to submit the project report and the internship report at the end of the semester.
Placement Experience
There are large number of companies who visit Amity University Noida and the students from the other Amity Universities are allowed to sit in the companies who come in the Noida campus.
College Events
The University conducts various events for the different institutions. During the months of March-April the University hots the annual cultural and technical fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a private university the fees structure is slightly higher as compared to other govt colleges in the region.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does provide scholarships initially on the basis of your 12th percentage. The students can then continue receiving the scholarship provided that their yearly cgpa is greater than 7.5.
Campus Life
The University hosts annual sports competition called sangastan during the months of August-September. The final rounds of all competitions are held in the Noida campus.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are pretty good when compared to other colleges hostels. There are 2 students in a single room.
Alumni/Alumna
So far I have not interacted with any alumni.
Exam Structure
We have 1 mid sem exam and then end semester examination. It is compulsory to give these exams otherwise the students are not promoted in the next semester.
Faculty
The teachers are not exceptionally good when compared with other colleges. They have the same knowledge and experience as other facilities in the colleges have.
