Course Curriculum Overview
The faculties in my college are very good. They have very deep knowledge and understanding of the subject and share the content with us via ppts for our thorough understanding of the subject. They even organize case studies and quizzes at regular intervals to check our progress.
Internships Opportunities
Marketing - Asian Paints ITC Google Pidilite, Finance - Goldman Sachs Bank of America, Consulting - Ernst and Young Bain and Company. The average stipend is 2 lakhs with the highest stipend touching 4 lakhs in the 2-month period.
Placement Experience
After the 4th trimester students get eligible for the placements here. Companies here coming on campus are world-class with average placement touching 27 lakhs for core and 20 lakhs for HR. The highest placement was bagged by consulting role at 67 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is approximately 12lakhs per annum and the only con is that it doesn't include a hostel. But the placements here are very good with the average package touching approximately 27 lakhs per annum in Core and 20 lakh in HR.
Campus Life
Life is good here. Each day brings a new challenge with lots n lots of tests and assignments being ready for us every week. But as an MBA student, I have got used to it now. There are as many as 20 clubs here with each club focusing on different aspects like Marketing Finance Operations Logistics Computer Applications Culture Sports and Verbal Communication.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility here is slightly costly and the room provided is on a triple sharing. But the facilities provided are very good. Laundry Water cooler food and everything is provided. There is a good atmosphere of study here as well.
Admission
I gave Nmat for admission to NMIMS Mumbai and it was a very smooth process. After clearing the cut off I was called for the GD-PI process. Post clearing that I was selected for admission. A new test known as the Watson Glaser test was added this time which is a type of psychometric test. The Nmat exam unlike the cat exam has a high weightage of PNC n Probability.
Interview Experience
GD topic - Invasion of privacy through technology. It was followed by a Watson Glaser test which is a kind of psychometric test and post that there was a personal interview for the admission process. The process was smooth. I prepared through a bribe.
