Course Curriculum Overview
I have choosen this course because i was always intrested in computers and new technologies and i always wanted to pursue cse. Faculty in our university are very supportive and knowledge. We have given two faculty for each subjects. For proper guidance .for some subjects there is only one faculty but they are very capable and they never miss any classes and always make out time efficient. I don't know about faculty: the student ratio. Most of my faculties have Ph.D. degrees in their respective domains. They teach very well compared to other universities I guess. Term exams are always conducted at the time which is decided at the start of the semester. They do not delay exams. Some exams are difficult and some are moderate. The passing criteria is getting more than 40% to pass in each subject.
Internships Opportunities
As I m in my second year right now I don't know much about this but if some students make a good project during the time of semester then they select the best project among all and provide them internship in the very first semester to just gain experience but main internships start after the end of the second year i.e 4th sem end.
Placement Experience
I guess my course placements are good on average. But I don't know about other courses. Students ate eligible for campus placements after the 7th sem or 6th sem. Companies like Wipro, Flipkart, Amazon, Adani, google, etc visit the campus. 60-70% of students get placed well. I have plans to a job in a good company for 1-2 years and then I will pursue post-graduation in cse.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very high. And there are no scholarships. But I guess if you will do hard work you will get placed in good company and it will be all worth it in the end. But only if you will do hard work on a daily basis, Scholarships are there for the students who have scored good marks in their 12th class.
Campus Life
They conduct many annual fests for fun and many tech fests in every month to motivate students in which they invite many industry experts and public speakers. All books are available in the University library, anyone can issue them and return them. Not a big deal about books even though they provide several online materials for each subject so that no student can get any difficulty. The classrooms are well organized. There are all types if activities on the campus you name any and you will have it there. There are 10-15 clubs which are there for students to join according to their interests.
Admission
At my time eligibility was getting more than 60% in 12th grade. The application form is easily available on the Chitkara University official website of any courses. Application fees are above 1000. Dates for application forms depend on higher authorities to decide. You can get reservation benefits in sports may be. There is no reservation based on caste for any course. I think the cut-off should be a little more than 60% for Courses.
