Likes

The campus is quite good! The environment is eco friendly.
There buildings are good! The infrastructure facilities are fine.
Sports facilities are available but only for few sports.

Dislikes

Classroom are not clean! There is lot of dust.
No one checks I'd card any one can enter in the campus.
There is no regular classes! One or two happens in a week.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to get graduated from bcom.1:50. The teaching method is not so good! Only 2-3 class happens once a week. There are no proper classes It's. The term exam happens in 6 months and the level is quite though.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship provided by the college! So there are no such companies! Which should be provided by the college. No projects are provided by the company! Students have to go on LinkedIn to get an internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of is study is around 7-8k per month. Right now I am in my first year, so I don't have much idea about it! The placement is not so good! The average package that a bcom graduate could hardly get is around 2-2.5 lakh.

Campus Life

There are no such extracurricular activities and there are no proper classes. No sports facilities are provided by the college. There are few social groups which are not so good. The social life just sucks.

Admission

Eligibility is that candidate should have scored more than 50% percent in class 12th. You can fill out the application form from the official website of GGU. You get a certain percentage of the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The real world exposture is zero, no industrial visits and no presentation and no modern teaching methods are provided and adapted. For this field atleast modern teaching methods should be adapted. Teachers should work more on giving practical knowledge, more internship opportunities should be provided. Industrial visits should be increased. Preparation for Group disscussion and interview shold start.

I chose bcom hons for its mix of real world and finance Prepares well for job and real world problems too However it needs more case studies and updated curriculum Exams are very much fair but too frequent

The Beautiful campus and hostel things too

Placement Experience:

Firstly they offer internship on 5 sem for 5 6 months paid unpaid too For bcom hons they offer apply legal raipur which is paid internship For bcom it is hard to find paid internship because we have to work on ca firms which is hard under the government rules many of the students get placement of they done their work very well

Not as per my expectations

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course as this is an honors degree also I am from a commerce background. And I want to know about all the concepts of commerce and the economy. There is a Concise curriculum for this course. Faculty to the student is quite less as it is a private university Faculties are changed regularly. And. In their place, a visiting faculty pursuing a master's or Ph.D. is engaged to cover up the syllabus until and unless any assistant professor joins the university. So that was the lack that was where we were lacking in the 5th semester.

Best college in Raipur

Remarks:

Amity is improving from year to year. We faced some problems there but now everything has improved so much. They have proper faculties now. Also they have guest faculties for some subjects. A specialized teacher for an important subject.

Life in Electronic Department in Guru Ghasidas University.

I got confirmed application in other Central University of different states but since I am from Chhattisgarh so I took this university and also I got admission to top state colleges of my state, but I prefer this university or state because it is central, for entering into this college you have to give exam and you can go through josa counselling or sees have counselling, you have to be 12th pass and for josa 75% is required in 12th, hot general category the cut off is 85% tile....Read More
