Course Curriculum Overview
I was way too interested in automobiles and machines, this is the main reason for opting for this course. There are a lot many faculties for each department. But as usual, the student ratio is comparatively more than faculties. All the learned faculties have completed their Ph.D. from esteemed colleges. Their methods of teaching are amazing and flawless. There are 2 mid sem within 1 end sem. Mid-semesters are comparatively easy because the syllabus is less in comparison to the end sem.
Internships Opportunities
As I am from the mechanical branch, there's an internship named INSPIRE which is provided by tata steel, offers a stipend of 40000 per month and gives PPO. But it's a bit difficult to qualify, it looks for quality in students.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. There are a lot of companies visiting such as Wipro, tata steel, cognizant, Infosys, Vedanta, capgemini, anms, etc. In the core sector vedanta provides around 16lpa. And Tata Steel provides around 11.5lpa. 95 percent of students are getting placements. There are 2 3 branches left with no placements such as civil and production.
Fees and Financial Aid
As our college comes under the state government of Jharkhand, so the fees are minimal in comparison to the rest of the colleges. The academic cost for girl candidates is approximately 45 thousand in 4 years. Mainly there are many scholarships to avail, but there's a special scholarship for the obc st and sc, i.e. the ekalyan scholarship provided by our chief minister. There's a total of 100 percent on-campus placements. Even stipends are provided to the mtech students.
Campus Life
There's a tech fest which is most probably conducted in the month of March. Lot many books are available in the library, for one who wants to prepare for any further examination, study materials are available there, and journals are a lot many there. Classrooms are well designed, along with proper furniture and smart board. Here are a number of clubs where students can showcase their talents, dance, sports, and extracurricular activities. Clubs such as THE ARTS CLUB, SPORTS CLUB, HNCC(coding), and social groups such as PRAYAAS INDIA here students are taught, and given quality education by our college students free of cost.
Hostel Facilities
A single bed is provided to each one staying in a room along with a proper wardrobe and a study table individually. Meal quality is average. As it's quite spicy. Hostel fees are 9500 including maintenance and electricity.
Admission
First of all the India entrance test i.e. jee main was given by me. As per my result, I took part in jceceb counseling for admission to BIT SINDRI, as because my marks were less than NIT's cut-off, but eligible for BIT SINDRI. The application form was released on the jceceb official website. As I was a female candidate my application fee was 250. I got addmission through TWF(tuition fee waiver) quota. No, no improvement is needed.
