Combination of foremost and shoddy experiences

College is good and fills almost aspects of being a good college from availing the free WiFi to the security for hostels. Overall experience was good.

Enterance Exam: UPSEE examination organised by AKTU Lucknow is to be cleared. College Allocation: I didn't have any knowledge about this college but as soon I searched for government colleges I noticed it the recent year packages were the highest as compared from all the colleges affiliate to AKTU, so I landed here.

No doubt, textile is the field of opportunities and this college only provides the courses in textile. If we talk about practical learning, this college is more than 100 years old and have most of the practical appliances from 90s technology and some machines of modern technology too.

Yes, This college provides internship to almost all students. I haven't joined any internship programs yet but according to the experiences shared by seniors it was average experience and aprox 6 thousands was the stipend average amount given to the interns.

Placements are upto the mark. As I mentioned earlier, in the year 2015-16 the placement package from here was highest among all the colleges affiliated to AKTU. About 80% students got placed last year and the remaining joined their higher studies and civil services. They also had a choice to get placed but they denied, so college claims 100% placement from last some years. Bhilosa industries, Trident group, Vardhman and Laxmi mills were some major companies for placements. Average package for last year was 3.2 lacks per annum.

Fees for the courses provided are not so high and are quite affordable. Complete fees for fresh admissions in B.tech was 79300 for one complete year i.e., for two semesters.

Yes, I'm a resident of hostel. Hostels are devided into four parts. In which 1st year hostel is the oldest one and don't have sufficient cleanliness but all the remaining three hostels meet to their requirements. Rooms are sharing and there lives three students in one room.

Exams are not making it Boring as there are always some extracurricular activities and sports events so the environment is good except at the time of semester exams it becomes somewhat restrictive and preparation for these exams leaves a tension mark on the forehead.

Most of the faculty members have experience of working in textile industries and almost all of them had completed their M.tech in textile engineering. If we talk about standard of teaching, it is higher and reaches to the limits of need as it is a government college and the faculty members provided are hired by AKTU according to a procedure.
