A glance at Acharya N.G. Ranga University

I chose this course because of my love for agriculture and the digital world both, so there was no other course suited for me other than this(I wanted to opt for BTech CS but because of my poor ranks and all, I had no other choice, yet I am not regretting my decision) The faculty here is really good, and all the professors are helpful, there will be some difficulties regarding language at the start but I'll get used to it in no time, there is a 70:25:5 ratio of English, Telugu, and Hindi. Most of the professors have completed their Doctorate and really have knowledge of what they are dealing with, there are some exceptions here and there but overall, the faculty is really good

Well, there are training programs with stipends but no internships so far. IDP international training was also there and it was wholesome. 8 students went to international training in USA, Finland, and Austria through interview and exam processes.

White entering the college, you should have a bare minimum of 50000 in your hands. 15000 will be taken during the registration at the fees counter and 15000 will be taken as Hostel Security money as security. This s only during the first sem, during the start of 2nd sem you will have to pay 19000 for registering in the 2nd sem. For students who got admission through ICAR, the is a scholarship of 3000 per month but you have to achieve 7 GPAs for general students and 6.5 GPAs for SC/ST. During the 2nd-year 2nd sem, students get training programs SRDY with 2000 rs allowance and IDP training also, so no worries in the training program.

There is only one fest organized per year and that is the College Day celebration if we take Freshers and Farewell as exceptions. There is one inter University sports competition called Phase, that also one per year, so no luck there. The library has almost all the books required for the courses and also for competitive exams, the library, in particular, has a small area for some reasons but the books are sufficient enough. The classroom is big enough and has enough seats to accommodate 80 students easily. There is no seriousness for sports in particular, there's PD but still, you have to play and learn on your own, the only time everyone is serious about sports is during college day and phase, and some students do go to play university nationals, yet no scope for someone who wants to make his/her carrier in sports. No clubs and study groups in the college so far.

To opt for this course you have to give ICAR exam and based on your ranking' you will get a college, like for ANGRAU, 15000 AIR was a safe rank for BTechj April. Engg. In case you are from SC/ST the rank may vary from 20000 and more, although this may be noted that there will be no fees or concessions for any reservation. The admission process is really smooth, it's just that the transactions are made only in cash mode. I had to go to market and roam here and there for cash and that's something no one wants, that is also in the era where UPI payments are so common.
