I am pursuing a bachelor of engineering in computer science. I was interested in computer science from the beginning. The faculty in our college are well experienced and they have completed their Ph.D. in their respective subjects. The faculty in this college are friendly and firm. Matrusri engineering college is affiliated with Osmania University till 2023. In the year 2023, the college got its autonomy from the University. However, we are affiliated with Osmania University. Currently, the CBCS system is in use. There will be 30 percent weightage for continuous internal assessment and 70 percent weightage for semester exams. Credits are given to each subject and semester cumulative points and cgpa are calculated considering those credits. every student should get half of the credits to promote into the next year. The student who possesses less than half of the credits will be detained. The portion for semester exams was minimal and more time is given for the preparation. The external lab exams.

The companies called TCS, cognizant, and Bajaj offer internships to students at entry level. Students are first required to clear the entrance tests and I heard that many students are lacking the skills to get through that tests and interviews.

Talking about placements, students are offered many offers by various companies in Hyderabad. There is personal assistance for campus placements for every student and placement training will be given to students from the second year onwards. From the second year second semester, students are offered internships and the students who get to complete their internship will be given a job. From the third year onwards students are getting interviewed and write tests for their placements. Companies like Tata, Mahindra, tcs, cognizant, Bajaj, and more than fifty companies are offering placements for students. More than a thousand placement offers were offered for 500 students. But the students who are qualifying for those tests and interviews were fewer. 80 percent of the students are placed last year. The highest package offered for a student last year is 60 lpa. The average package offered in the college is 7 lpa. More skills are needed to get a placement.

Every student who took admission into Engineering through EAMCET counseling will be given a 35000 fee reimbursement. And sc, st, minority students, and those students who got a rank less than 10000 will be given full fee reimbursement. The fee of the college is 103000 and 20000 was taken for by the college in the name of library fee. Every year student needs to pay 5000 for semester exams. I was given 35000 reimbursements. Nothing more than that is collected from us, the students. I was given 12000 rupees by the central government in the name of a national scholarship. No scholarship is provided by the college. No financial assistance is given by the college. However fee the college is low, and we were able to afford the fee. Various companies offer jobs to the students from third year onwards. Many of the third-year students are working on internships. As a first-year student, I am looking for future internships and I am improving my skills to get an internship or job.

The college is situated in the middle of the city. It is very is to get to the college from every corner of the city. The campus life is good. Unlike other eng colleges, the college is around 3 acres. A basketball court, two volleyball courts, and one cricket net are available for the students on campus. The sports room is well designed with three table-tennis boards, and few indoor games. Many clubs namely sports clubs, dance clubs, music clubs, and photography clubs are there. The literary club and heritage club are there and doing their duties. There are a few social helping clubs called with you and other clubs. Fests are conducted once for two months. recently a fest called urvi is conducted. There is an alumni group of passed-out students and they help current students to get skills and replacements. There is a library in the college consisting of many volumes of books. Academic books are given to the students every semester. There is a virtual Library having access to many online contents and journals.

There is a common entrance test called tsEAMCET for students who are seeking admission into various engineering colleges in Telangana. Rank is given to the candidates according to their marks.
