KMIT College Hyderabad - College for coders

I chose CSE, as I am personally interested. We have a nice faculty-to-student ratio, a rough estimate of 10:70. The faculties are PHDs from various Colleges and Universities. The Teaching methods are worth mentioning here. They prefer learning by doing instead of just teaching and leaving. The term exams are reasonable and many are able to pass in a smooth way.

International Finishing School by KMIT - 100/hour Salesforce - 1.25 LPM Our college has collaborated with DRDO in research of missiles and all related to Artificial Intelligence and also with Tapadia Diagnostics in research for Breast Cancer detection.

The major plus point of our college is the placements. Many come to our college for placements. Our college has only CSE background sections CSE, AI/ML, DS and IT. So, our college allows companies who offer at least 5LPA. Many students even get the placements out of the college through the guidance and support of the college. The college helps in getting placements through a pre-placement program called Finishing School (FS), in which Elite is the highest section. Elite people generally get nice packages, which are monitored by our founder Niel Gogte sir. They generally get a min package of 12-15 LPA, otherwise, they won't even allow FS Elite people to attend an interview if that min is not given by a company. Overall, almost all students get a decent package (not exaggerating). Last year, through the support of the college, one girl got a 1.2 CR per annum package in Amazon Berlin, and on-campus highest was ~44LPA.

Fees recently increased it seems, due to the hype of the college in the EAMCET colleges. Scholarships include the scholarship provided by govt of Telangana for people who got rank under 10000. I am not eligible even though I got <4500, since my father is a Govt employee. In y 1st year 1st sem only, my college provided me with an internship with a college in the name of International Finishing School, which basically includes us as teaching assistants for the web development and Python training given by our college to other country people.

There are 3 fests that happen generally in a year. They are Patang Utsav, Dandiya Nights, and KMIT Evening which is like an Annual Day. KMIT Eve is the most awaited fest in the college. The library is pretty good with a nice collection of books. Every classroom has a projector and also our FS and PS labs have ACs. The rooms are pretty nice for a nice learning environment. There are sports like basketball, football, volleyball, and tennis and extracurricular activities like clubs, e-magazine, etc. The e-magazine is run by students only, and I'm happy to be a part of its web development team. And there are lots of projects done by students under the name of Project School (PS) which are funded by our college. Our college also have a Street Cause division, which is the largest student-run NGO, and I'm happy to be a part of it.

I have applied through TS EAMCET. I got all the information regarding admission on the EAMCET official website only. I don't have any reservations, so I don't know about reservations. I am pretty satisfied with the admission procedure.
