Likes
- Study material is good, and upto dated. Books show case studied as recent as 2019. We are provided notes of subjects as well. Topics are taught in right sequences and in easy to understand language.
- Teachers are average at worst and excellent at best. Most are above avg
- We are provided options of teachers in each subject for sem 1 and 2
Dislikes
- Options of teachers is missing in sem 3 and 4, i wish they had many options like sem 1 and 2.
- Fee is a bit more than what it should be. Specially for those who are not financially well
- Exams have multiple dates and slots but in doing that they make waaaay too many Questions. Some of them aren't well made and look like Q just for the sake of it
Course Curriculum Overview
Course books aren't as deep as the books studied by students of MBA students from IIM but that comparison is unfair in itself. Otherwise, books are good and teach the topic well. Not all faculties are best but most of Nmims faculties are on average to Excellent level.
Fees and Financial Aid
If we see it as an MBA fee, it isn't much But as a distance MBA, I think that the fee should be less. 45-60k seems reasonable. Although they do have discounts for students from Army families. And that's a really good thing.
Campus Life
College does allow us to visit campus anytime we want to. And many of us choose campus as our exam destination as well. But distance MBA doesn't have any functions and all since it kills the purpose of it. We do have groups with a good network. We do attend live interactive classes.
Admission
I am doing a distance MBA so you just pay the fee and must have good marks in graduation. Above 60% and that much is sufficient. We can contact Nmims directly to take admission they connect a counselor with us who walks us through the process and clears any doubt.
