The college canteen is very good. It has offers tasty food at low rates
The college library is the one of the best places in college
The Games room has many games like Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, Billiards.

Dislikes

The college timing for morning batch. First class is at 6:15 AM
The campus does not have a playground. There is just a turf.
The college does not provide free or subsidised printing facilities.

I had a keen interest in Accounts and Finance, so B.Com (Honours) in Accounts and Finance was the best course I could have pursued. Every class gets a Mentor for the whole course period be it 3 years or 4 years and they are available every time for every student.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college provides regular classes for TCS NQT exams. After passing the TCS NQT exams, students can get many internships and job opportunities at big companies. The college also provides assistance to CA, CMA, and CS students to find articles firms.

Placement Experience

The college has a Placement cell and a Placement hall. Every year many companies come in for placements. Students from 2 nd year are eligible for campus placements. The average salary offered is around 4 lakh to 5 lahks per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of B.Com (Honours) in BESC are a little high as compared to other institutions in Kolkata, but as BESC is one of the best colleges in Kolkata, the fees are commensurate with the extra facilities it provides. If a student scores 90% and above in any 5 subjects in his class 12th, then the college also provides scholarships to those students.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in the college. The college is also NAAC accredited. 'Umang' is one of the biggest fests in Kolkata which is held in BESC every year. The college has a big library and a Games room which has many games.

Admission

All the admission process was online. We have to visit the college website and apply for admission. Application fees for one course are 750/-. We have to submit the documents online if our name gets shortlisted and after approval of the documents we have to pay the admission and first semester fees.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
