Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Computer science because I have been fascinated with computers since young and tech jobs have very good starting salaries. The faculty is appropriately divided and the majority of them teach with PowerPoints. the term exams were always on time but very easy to pass yet hard to excel.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 365000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are Rs 365000 for the first year and 339900 for the remaining three years. The price is fixed at the time of admission, No campus jobs but internship opportunities are plenty. Scholarships are provided based on academic merits in the first year.

Campus Life

Life is rather fun at campus with a lot going on all the time, our cultural fest Oneiros was in September last year but the dates fluctuate. Classrooms have air-conditioning and smart boards. Daily newspapers and magazines are available in the library as well as multiple copies of journals.

Admission

Take Manipal's Entrance test and depending on your marks take admission to one of the institutes through counseling rounds. You get to choose your preference for course and location of the campus. The process is smooth only the fee payment structure process needs to be clearer.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
