Faculties are very good, they are student friendly .
College campus is so good, it's big and nature friendly .
Reading room of the college is good, AC is there too

There is no canteen in college which should be there.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to do B.com honours Faculties are good, student friendly They are all of PHD, some are CA , CMA About 6 months in gross. It's easy to pass if student studies regularly and solve their doubts by faculties itself.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

About 1000 total of CU and college fees. No scholarship from college is there, and there held some online campus but you shouldn't be rely on them. Just study and find job from somewhere else, it will be better.

Campus Life

Annual fest happens every year. Every books are available in library, you can study in reading room also. Classrooms are big, good facilities of fan and light is there. Happens in every year. There are college union.

Admission

Class 12 passout Website of college SC,ST,OBC are first prioritiesed Liberal admission should be there for all catagory students . General catagory students are get the last list for that prioritisation.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

INSIGHTS OF GCCBA

Goenka college of commerce and business administration is the second best college in Kolkata and the best college under Calcutta University. Hence it has a brand value. I got admission offers in SXUK, Jaipuria THK Jain and Bhawanipur college, But this was the best option I had. The admission process is through your boards marks. I got admission in Aliah University which is in New Town Kolkata I got rank 12. I applied in Shri Shikshathan College also and got admission in first list. I rejected both the colleges as Aliah University though it is a reputed college but the placement committee is not as good as Goenka College of commerce. I applied for BBA + MBA integrated program in Aliah University but I wanted to pursue BCom honours in accountancy and finance thus I rejected Aliah University. Shri shikshayatan college on the other hand is another reputed college in which I applied for bcom honours in accountancy and finance I rejected Shri shikshayatan college as no doubt Goenka College is way more better than Shree shikshayatan and Shri shikshayatan is comparatively very much expensive in comparison with goenka. Shri shikshayatan takes around 250000 tuition fee on the other hand Goenka College charges only 4090 rs for 4 years....Read More

Not the best but u can make the best.

To take admission in this college u have to have a minimum percentage of 93% after that merit list is provided and when ur name comes in the list u can take admission and join the classes verification is done afterwards....Read More
