The infrastructure of the college has to be improved . College is not to big to roam . Food quality in hostel has to be increased. Overall experience in Campus is good.
Entrance Preview
I have written JEE mains and got qualified in MAINS . After that there is only application process for college. I am interested in Computers and so I have selected Information Technology branch in NIT Raipur
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is good enough to have practical learning and our college provides good labs. Electives like Operational Research etc are also there
Internships Opportunities
College do provides with internships. While companies come for Full time course, they do take students for Internships. Average stipend will be around 20,000/- per month
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is good. Almost every one from INFORMATIONAL TECHNOLOGY will be placed , percentage will be around 80-90% in INFORMATIONAL TECHNOLOGY . Major companies that visited college are Reliance, UHG, JP MORGAN etc. Average package is around 5-6 lakh per annum
College Events
Many fests are organized in the campus like AAVARTAN (technical fest) ECLECTIKA (cultural fest) and SAMAR (sports fest) and some other tests are also there in college
Fee Structure And Facilities
Before I joined it was around 38,000/- for our seniors. When I joined it was 76,500/- per annum. Now the has been increased to 1,31,000/- for General. The fee structure is not same for all , like for people whose family income is less , they fee will be wavered. There is also different different fee structures for General , OBC, SC, St etc
Fees and Financial Aid
College do provide scholarship for students whose income is less than 2 lakh per annum, 3 lakh per annum etc . I didn't avail any scholarship from college.
Campus Life
My college is so good in extracurricular activities. Many camps , events from clubs , committees are being organized regularly in college
Hostel Facilities
I am residing outside(not in college) but I have experienced hostel in 1st year. There are different types of rooms like 2 persons per room and 3 persons per room. They cost around 30,000/- per annum
Alumni/Alumna
The college do provide a good interaction with alumni . They call alumni for special sessions to deliver lectures and make students interact with Alumni. Yes, the Alumni do provide with some development of the college as well as the students
Exam Structure
Exams are not held frequently but they do take care that we study .
Faculty
Many experienced faculty with minimum qualification of Mtech and some faculty have done PHD also are teaching. They are very much interactive while teaching and they also explain doubts Clearly. They also stand first to help the students and make us gain knowledge .
