Faculty of our college is very much friendly

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this bcom course to get knowledge in this smart world and it would help me to get placement easily. Teachers and students are almost around 1: 2 ratio. The professor which are teaching in the college are highly qualified and well-educated and their teaching method is really mind-blowing. 1 internal and 1 main exam occurs in a semester which occurs twice in a year, exams are quite easy to crack in starting semesters and then difficulty starts as it goes on.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our Umesh Chandra College are very much economical for every student studying in India and the cost to study is very much more efficient. Many scholarships are provided during the semester which help the student's financially to get them educated smoothly. Many companies come to recruit students at the end semester and the stipend is also good.

Campus Life

Some annual fest occurs in our college in the month of December which give us quite a good refreshment. There are plenty of books which are present in the library which give us a good knowledge of literature. There are no such amenities in the classroom present. There is a large playground in our college where cricket is played on a daily basis and friendly match is played with another college frequently. There are many unofficial groups present on Instagram and WhatsApp where you may join.

Admission

To take admission to umesh chandra you required a minimum of 55% in class 12 boards. In July the admissions application form are available on the college website. You can get scholarship benefits by taking admission by applying first. No improvement is needed.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
