The Real KMIT

I have chosen the Data Science course for the benefits it has more than the CSE but in the college, there is no difference between the courses, they will teach all courses with the same syllabus. It is a bit of a disappointment to see there is no difference between the courses, all have to study CSE. Some of the faculty are good but some are worse than the worst. The faculty are bit harsh and they don't accept if they were wrong and continue to tell the wrong method to all the other students, some of them are too slow and don't cover half of the syllabus, some of them don't know the actual concept but say gibberish for the sake of the salary and left, they don't repeat the topic if any student or the whole class ask for it, even they scold the people for not listening the first time The exams were like all of a sudden, you need to write 1½ months continuously covering Sem, lab externals, mid.. and the correction be like the 1st sem is good and the 2nd sem is bad in every year.

From 3rd year 2nd sem, students will be eligible for Campus placements. The college will not allow you to join in any internship if you get before 3-2. The Placement drive will be done in the NGIT college which has a good infrastructure than the KMIT. All the notable companies will be present at the time, they will make numerous offers to the people. The Highest package is 50lpa I don't know the company, the average package is in between 15lpa and 20lpa. All the students will get placements if they don't have any backlogs.

The regular fee is 103000 for each year, students will get scholarship from the state government if they apply for it, but no scholarship will be obtained for the management students. The fee will not be increased in the near future. The management seat cost will be hiked like the volcano in the next 5 years. College introduced many facilities like Project School, Finishing School and Imaginary School (collab with T-hub) Finishing School is a must for all, for Project School, there will be a test and they select a limited no.of students for it, they will be doing a project under a mentor for a semester or less. In Finishing School, everyone will do a project forming groups and they need to explain to their respective faculty. You will definitely get a job minimum of 10pa if you don't have any backlogs at the time of placements which will be held on 3-2 or 4-1 mostly.

There will be no extracurricular activities, no room for fests, there will be only 3 fests in the whole year. Seniors conduct the Freshers outside the Campus, it is not a college fest, it's more like a private party. There are many clubs in the college but the clubs aren't worth it, no club is good right now. The Management doesn't give the respect or the facilities required for a club. There will be a Volleyball tournament twice a year(only for the college, no other people will be allowed)which is conducted by the college officially and there will be no other tournaments, and there is no sports time for the students. At the time of the JNTUH inspection, they will add a sports period in the timetable for the sake of the inspection and there will be no fun activities in the college.

We can apply to this college through EAMCET or through the JEE MAINS percentile or through Management seats. If you want to go through EAMCET(AP/TS), you need to apply for counselling and do the same EAMCET stuff, for TS EAMCET, the eligibility rank wise is as follows for CSE: For OC: below 8000 For OBC : below 13000(changes with the sub-categories) For SC: below 28000 For ST: below 32000 If you wanna join through management, the price is too high. You at least pass the EAMCET(the min. Marks) and the price is 15lakhs and you need to pay 1lakh each year as of 2023 admissions
