Pros and cons of Lakshmi Narayin College of Technology & Science, Bhopal

I chose this college because it is the No. 1 private college in Madhya Pradesh. Being from Bhopal it was easy for me to chose this college.The teachers are well qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. LNCT is affiliated to RGPV university teachers are highly qualified and strict related to study which is a good thing.

LNCT is known for its high placements, this year the highest package is 1.12 Crore per annum and the lowest is around 3.5 LPA, 90% plus students get placed every year on campus. Faculty members are very helpful, but at some points, the syllabus is feel outdated. Around 90 per cent of students were placed in B.Teach in the Information technology Branch.

The fee for 1 year is roughly around 1,20,000/-. You can also opt for scholarships. There are a lot of scholarships available( such as Pragati. etc), and caste-wise scholarships are also available. Even I myself received a scholarship of Rs. 28,000 for 1 year. But the delay in scholarship was too much.

This year a college fest was held in which singer Gajendra Verma came and the Next day there was a DJ night in day time many activities related to sports, Science, AI and many others were held. The event's name is 'Shrishti' which is held every alternate year, another fest which is called 'Engineer's Planet' is held where many activities related to tech are organised. We are also provided with access to libraries which have ample books to read and we can issue books on various different subjects. In the classrooms, we have well-managed desks and benches, smart boards, tube lights and fans. We also have different clubs which are open to students, they can become members of those clubs and many activities are organised by these clubs.

I opted for Btech course in computer science engineering which had eligibility criteria of minimum 60 percentile in JEE-Mains. I applied for admission via MP-DET councelling. The admission process was easy.
