Chennai Institute of Technology is one of the best colleges in Chennai

I have chosen this course since I am very much interested in learning Electronics. The college has high faculty-to-student ratio and the quality of the faculties and their teaching is way too good. Every semester has about 4 exams and they are scheduled frequently so it's quite difficult to prepare for exams.

The college offers various internship opportunities. Students are encouraged to participate in various hackathons to crack PPOs and PPIs. Flipkart is one of the companies that offers internships through hackathons. Besides that students can do their internships in companies that come for placements.

The college provides an excellent placement opportunity. Students are eligible for placements from their 3rd year. But students are facilitated to fo their internships from their 1st year. The average salary package at the college is 8LPA and the highest salary package is 44LPA. More than 90% of the students get placed and the remaining opt for higher studies.

Since I had a high cut-off in my 12th grade I received a scholarship to pursue my course. Apart from that the courses are quite affordable and financial assistance is provided based on the student's performance and background. The college also provides good campus placements and internship opportunities.

The college conducts many Symposiums for every department and it also conducts a grand cultural fest called Takshashila annually. It also has a highly facilitated library with numerous resources. Classrooms are well maintained. The college also supports and encourages extra-curricular activities and sports. It also has many clubs like the literary club.

Admission Process is so simple. There is no need for any entrance exam. I applied to this college via TNEA counselling. To opt for high demand and core branches, it requires a cut-off of 175 and above.
