Dr. Ambedkar college is one of the best college in nagpur. Our college have all latest technological instruments and provide free Wi-Fi . I loved my college.
Entrance Preview
I didn't give any entrance exam for admission. I got 72% marks in B.Sc stream and I directly got admission to Dr. Ambedkar college.Yes, i needed to go through interview process in which they tested my different skills.Besides this , i have completed my graduation in this college only, so i don't get any difficulty in admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Chemistry is an excellent subject to study and it's my favourite one because of its cool experiments we have to perform in our lab. Chemistry is totally a practical based subject where we don't need to mug up everything thing, here we need to understand the topic. Research initiatives taken by the institute on topic " Biohardious Material " . Other options were M.Sc in Physics , Botonay , zoology etc.
Internships Opportunities
Yes , our college provide an internship. I practically didn't experience an internship program but had heard from my friends that it is very nice and interesting experience. Other than this, i had no more idea about internship.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario is quite good. Many companies like Vipro, Infosis, Amazon etc visits our college every year. The average package offered to the students is 5 to 6 lakh rupees.
College Events
Science exibition is held every year in Dr. Ambedkar college. Many other competitions and cultural fests like drama, quiz, dance, singing competition etc are hold held in college. Average of 600 to 700 people visits our college during these fests daily. College management as well as students equally share the responsibility of success ot these fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Dr. Ambedkar college fees is very affordable and cheap. We need to pay ₹5500 per year and ₹400 as university fees per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes our college provides scholarships for Sc,St, Obc and Christian students. No, i don't avail any scholarship. No, college does not provide the facility of getting some loan.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities like cricket tournament, Chess competitions, etc are held in our college. I used to actively participate in Cricket tournament. Our college have all latest equipments like bowling machine, gym equipments etc.
Hostel Facilities
No, I don't stay in hostel. From my friends i heard that hostel facility and quality is quite good. They provide healthy and nutritious food to students. Students need to pay ₹48000 per year for hostel facility.
Alumni/Alumna
My interaction with alumni was quite good. Yes, my college provides a proper platform for student alumni interaction. Alumni used to visit our college 2 to 3 times a year. College arranges seminars for students by alumni.Alumni share their college life experience with students and inspire us. They tell us dos and donts of college life. In this way, alumni contribute in the overall development of college as well as students.
Exam Structure
Yes , there are two semester exams held every year for M.Sc students. So for me it's ok type situation. Since Chemistry is my favorite, i font find any tiredness performing practicals in lab. So it's a chill culture.
Faculty
Teachers teaching us Chemistry have experience of 5 to 6 years in teaching post graduation students. All teachers have done M.Sc and some of them have even qualified P.hd.degree. There is always very friendly interaction between students and teachers. Teachers taught us every topic in detail that we don't need to prefer many reference books for study.
