First I have choosen all government colleges and i kept the last option for this college but due to my rank and caste reservations i didn't got seat in government colleges then I got in this college, i don't have another option so I joined in this college. The admission process in our college is simple once you got a seat in this college you should come with joining report and certificates and submit it in college and pay the fee, generate your biometric this is admission process. i chose this college mainly because it is near to my home and easier for travelling. I applied to a few more colleges but either the distance was too much or their fees were higher. There were some other top colleges that I applied to. Firstly, i received admission to another campus of the same college. It was TKRCET's second campus. Then after my second couselling i applied to the main campus of TKRCET and fortunately, i recieved admission in this main campus. I did get rejected from other colleges because my ECET rank wasn't suffiicient to meet their Cut-off. The admission process of my college was fairly straightforward. The college accepts candidates based on their rank in the ECET entrace exam. The cutoff for my course was competitve, but my rank was within the eligibile range. I got an EAMCET rank of 24,000. Being a female, I was provided with many universities and options. But, Biotechnology being completely new course, had its share of pros and cons. I was not sure to pick which college or university, could provide the course in a better way. I picked TKR College of Engineering and Technology, as I felt it was within the city, and I did not have to spend much time travelling to college.
