My college review

I would rather choose this college instead if any other due to the study quality, loving faculties, n most important for giving me a memory to remember about my college life... The only problem is when your attendance goes low and the taste of hostel food...

Im cbse student... I wrote many entrance exam like comedk n Kcet n jee mains... No other college was as satisfying as this... My rank was 50k in Kcet... N I got a seat in CS.. There was no interview or anything as so.. The admission process was pretty much simple... And the administrative block was very supportive...

CS.. As per now it's pretty good.. If you are a person who wants to manage both studies and extra curriculum at the same time... This college is the best... It runs on the 3D principal... Discipline , dedication , and determination... The faculties help you lot in everything... They are ready to stay back and teach until you understand.. There are more like friends to you n equally strict when they have to be... The teachers teach you in way that you are motivated to think about it and want to research on it...

There is a wide range of companies that cone here for internship Refer the following to know about the companies that visit us hkbk.edu.in/summer-internships/ As I'm in CS department the companies that visit us are Infosis and oracle...

It attracts many companies as it lies in the heart of Bangalore near MNC's... More than 78% students get placed as per last year... There are many companies that visit us such as infosis, Accenture, Bose etc. The average package Is 8 lacks per anum

We have a cultural fest once a year... N other programs that happens as often... We have inter college and intra college fests connected every year... The cultural is the highlight though... It's Calypso... It's mostly held during your even semesters.. You have a wide range of exposure when participated in them... Many celebrities visit our fests which encourages us to show off our talents and get recognized in front if them... More than 2000 students visit these fests every year... More over we have all kind of celebration going on every month... Like freshers day, onam and so on... All though we don't have DJ nights... But the fests are conducted with discipline and care..

Fee structure is all affordable... As I went through kcet I had to pay 72,000 for a year.. And for the management students u have to pay about 1.5 lakhs or so for cs... When compared to other colleges this is worth the cost...

There is nothing as such...

We are given all opportunities to show case our talents... In fact we are pushed to over come our fears and show case our talents... We have many computations going on every single month... Our college is not only about studies but also students who are filled with all kinds of talents..

Though I don't stay in hostel, I have friends there... The rooms are decent enough... The boy hostel in the college campus but the girls hostel is a Little far away, the college bus drops them to the college... These rooms are shared... N if u wish not to stay in hostel u still have a lot of PG's near by because it's near manyatha tech park.. And about the food... They serve hot , hygienic food... But some may not like the taste... But nothing to worry... The foodcourt is here for your rescue...

And about the alumni... Your are feel like you are home... All the pupils here are so caring and friendly... They are the reason we are pushed to get out of comfort zone and excel... There are many international students who get along with you very well..

Exams!! It's never been a pain though till date... Our portions are complete before hand and we are given a lot of practice papers before we go for the exam... We are well prepared n confident enough to face the exams because of the extra hard work of our teachers... Even if we have missed classes we are most welcome to take extra classes and labs... N if ur syllabus Is lagging they make sure they take extra classes and finish before time do that our exams go in ease...

All our teachers have completed their masters... And we also have few PhD holders... As I told all the teachers are very friendly n helpful... They teach us until we understand... We are open to ask doubts... N also encourage us to excel more by letting us participate in both our educational and cultural fests... The classes are made interactive which doesn't bore us... In short they give u individual attention unlike other colleges...
