I took Karnataka CET and secured 3028 Rank. Marketing was always my choice considering the skills I possess but we had to select this stream in our second year. First year was common for every though. There is no interview for Karnataka CET Rank holders. Admission depends on the payment of fees to the CET board and the college donation fee.

Course curriculum is good. But not much focus was on research aspects except few Marketing subjects. It covered 28 subjects in 4 semesters.

None of the companies came for internship. But we had to go out of campus in search of companies to do our final year project. Also it was against the university rule to not take part in internship programs for stipends in any companies except for doing project on some topic in any company. We had to maintain attendance of 85%. Half of the Final semester Project was completed during our semester holidays.

Placements are not so good but the job opportunities are more in marketing and finance sectors. Companies like Common Floor,Shoppers stop came and few did get selected including me. But the job role didn't interest me much. In Marketing stream 8 out of 30 candidates were selected. They offered an annual package of 180000 However, placement rate is 70% for engineering students.

College Fest named Varchaswa was awsome where in all the departments combine and make it a success. It focuses mainly on cultural programs and awards in academic and other areas. Then comes Management fest named organized by MBA department. It involved many management games like Best Manager,Treasure Hunt,National level Paper Presentations etc. Also tech fest named Elysia organised by Computer science department was good having many tech games like debugging,NFS etc. Participation is good in all the fests. On an average 12-15 colleges participated in each fest.

Not much Idea but there are few I can remember like Rs 10000 for securing a position of top 3 among university ranks holders.

Gender Ratio is 60:40 i.e Male:Female workshops are conducted once in year. There is no discrimination or diversity as such. It is a college mixed with all religion,race and ethnicity. There is no politics as such. Economic status is strong.

Hostel rooms are Okay. 3 in a room with separate wardrobes. But food quality is not so good.

Seniors were quite knowledgeable and good. Learnt many things from them like how to study and way of perspective towards subjects and the course as a whole. What skills to gain etc. It is a ragging free campus. I was in Anti ragging squad and there were no major complaints in terms of ragging. We had to pay Rs 50000 yearly including a deposit of 5000 which is refundable.

I would say 5 in 10 faculties are very well qualified and interested in teaching their relevent subjects.
