What Students Say
Likes
- Academic environment, Sports facilities, and opportunities
- Fest life, college + hostel life, Tech opportunities
- Supportive faculty and Seniors with genuine experience
Dislikes
- Far from jaipur, girl- boy ratio and hostels
- Connectivity is bad, college bus has to be taken with little to no reliability
- Sometimes academic life is too much of a burden, with no sympathetic dean
Course Curriculum Overview
The average package is quite good and there is plenty of scope to go into core jobs according to passouts. Faculty ratio maybe around 1:50. Qualified faculty, mostly received PHDs from top IITs and NITs. Term exams and quizzes are very frequent and fairly difficult to score well.
Internships Opportunities
College is fit for internships. So much fewer companies reach out to hire interns and that too rarely. However, the stipend is offered to interns. Plenty of College internships are present in the supervision of various faculties with expertise in diverse fields such as coding, content writing etc
Placement Experience
Students register themselves in the 7th semester and go on till the end of the 8th semester in the case of a B.Tech degree. Adobe, Microsoft, Ola, Samsung, Nestle, JP Morgan and many more start-ups and companies visit for campus placements. The highest on-campus placement is around 60 lac per annum, while the average remains 14-15 lac per annum. 85-90 per cent of students get placed every year. Great campus placement is my goal.
Fees and Financial Aid
The approximate cost for my 4-year b.tech degree is 21 lac INR. However, for the upcoming batch of 2023, the fee is well over 25 lac INR. The fee structure is charged per semester, with hostel and mess fees changed/ updated per semester with a little increment. Scholarships are difficult to obtain. 3 types of scholarships to avail. 1st type: JEE Advanced rank <= 12,000 2nd type: Merit based ( CG greater than 9.25 ) 3rd type: EWS section ( due to loss of a breadwinner in the family, early death etc.... )
Campus Life
3 fests annually with plenty of club events Cultural Fest, Sports Fest and Tech Fest each enjoyed over 3 days. The library is small, although course-relevant books are present. AC classrooms and labs. Sports facilities are decent. Opportunities in extracurricular activities are there too Tech Club, Coding Club, Dance club, music club and plenty more!
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are not great, especially the fact that the first semester has to be triple-shared. The new hostel is being constructed and will be ready within 3-4 months Mess is decent The registration process is easy No one avails of PG
Admission
Eligibility is JEE Main percentile was taken into account. Application form on the website. No reservations are to be availed. The admission process is quite good. We have to report on campus on the day of counselling to book hostel rooms.
