Remarks
Well it's a Government Engineering College so don't expect too much. if you want to something from college or faculties then you have to initiate for it, They won't come to you & ask your problems. Otherwise it is good once you figure out how to manage it.
Entrance Preview
If you want to take admission in GEC Modasa then you don't have to give any entrance exam right now but I gave JEE main exam ,no interview process at all. I choose Mechanical Engineering because I am very well interested in that field.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I choose is very good because I like it but the problem is you can't get any practical knowledge here because they're not a single working machine here except Lathe & Shaper machine particularly in Mechanical Engineering.
Internships Opportunities
They won't provide any internship it's all up to you , you want training in any company & you have any reference then college will allow you for permission . that's it.
Placement Experience
Don't expect to be place in anu type of company if you'll take Mechanical department in this college , I recently passed out with 7.4 cgpa but didn't place actually in my betch out of 150 students only 2 were placed. For other branches it's good but for Mech it's very poor.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's Government Engineering College so it's very affordable to anyone, 2500 rs for year excluding exam fees. It includes all the charges like gymkhana, library charge,Lab fees etc. It's vary good for the ones who want to learn something but can't afford because for them there is scholarship arrangements.
Hostel Facilities
Honestly speaking Hostel accomdation is not so good , 4-5 person have to share a single room which is very difficult. Fees is quite cheap but it is like ' itne ne itna hi j milega'. Food is average. It's like if you don't have any options then yes it will be okay
Exam Structure
It is complete chill culture unless exam's are not coming. labs are like waste of time because they have equipment but they are not in working condition. So you can't perform practical. If you can make good friends then i bet you, you'll never tired end of the day.
Faculty
Faculties are well qualified but it's Government college, Most of syllabus have to complete to yourself. If you want to help of them , of course they will , but that is fun of government college that you never go to them. The standard of faculties don't expect to IIT leval or school leval. They are good but not best .
