Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE because of its high demand. The faculty-student ratio is the last thing you would care about in college, on papers it is 1:20, but you won't feel in college, since major lectures are taken by single senior faculty, in labs, the ratio is good. Teachers are well qualified, almost all have done PhD in their course, teaching method varies according to professors, so the semester system is followed by college, each yr consists of 2 semesters, and each sem has a midterm and 2-4 quizzes on each subject. If you study well and attend classes, exams are of moderate level, and relative grading is applied.
Placement Experience
campus placements usually start in 4th yr starting , i.e 7th sem The highest Package is 50.96 lac CTC The average is 14.76 lac CTC these are for freshers. 90% of placements are there. placements are managed by the placement cell of lnmiit, driven by faculty and student bodies
Fees and Financial Aid
Approx cost per year will be 5 lac, eg 3 sem fees are, Tuition fees + student activity charges+ enrollment fees is 2,09,000 hostel + electricity + internet charges = 32,100 Mess food charges = 18,000 Approx total of 2.6 lac, THESE ARE 1 SEMESTER FEES also, there will be a 10% hike in fees each year, current fees will be mentioned in the brochure the scholarship amount is very less, the highest you can get is 35k. other scholarships from the government side are written on the official page of lnmiit admission, campus jobs include teaching assistant in the lab, which you can get in 3rd year.
Campus Life
College is situated on the outskirts of Jaipur (15+ km from the main city ), and there is almost nothing in a radius of 5km (except for 2-3 thadi, outside campus). so outside college life is limited, There is a bus service available for college students. There is a time of 10:45, you have to be inside the hostel after this, so there is no nightlife on campus. Majorly 3 fests are conducted, by student bodies Vivacity (Cultural fest) - conducted in mid-Feb, Desportivo (Sports fest) - conducted at the start of Feb, Plinth (Technical fest ) - conducted at the end of Jan. Library consisted of a good amount of collection of books, almost all course-related books are available, sitting area is limited, during exams getting a seat is difficult, also library has timing from 8 am -10 pm. Classrooms amenities are okayish, simple projector, ac, and mic for faculty. sports and extracurricular activities, are also okayish, badminton, skaush, table tennis, basketball, lawn tennis, cricket and football.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are simply provided with a mattress, chair, wooden table, almirah, sticky board, and table lamp, 2 BH have vents for summer and 1 BH has full ac, GH has vents, and vents have timings of 8hrs per day in summer Mess food is okayish, three messes are there A, B, C and you will be alloted mess, you will be boared within a month, a canteen is there with 2 shops for food , one hotel (don't get excited, it is 2 shops hotel), registration will be done first day , hostel affordability is decent with 50k /yr. college is fully residential, you have to compulsorily take a hostel (with some special permission you can get day schooling )
Admission
The admission is majorly done through percentile of jee mains, although there are other ways of admission like for ug courses, Regular Mode - JEE MAIN DASA Mode (direct admission for students abroad) Board Toppers Mode (direct admission for board toppers ) Lateral Entry Mode(admission in 2nd and 3rd semester) There are no reservations for any caste or gender in the institutions or any paid quota. Also, the admission procedure is done through college own counselling process , you can find it on college's official website - https://www.lnmiit.ac.in/
