Likes

Infrastructure is quite good, and the college campus atmosphere is quite enlightening.
Mess food is quite good in comparison with foods of other college .
Availability of all necessary food items as well as eateries inside hostel premises is a good thing.

Dislikes

Increase in student intake has resulted in many people living outside hostel campus .
Too much high fees is a big con as return on investment is not that good.
All facilities are provided but they are quite expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose MUJ as it is near my house and offered double occupancy, unlike SRM and VIT. I chose this course as I was not interested in a specialization like IOT. The faculties are mostly good. The term exams would always occur on time and dates for them are always given in the academic calender in advance. The exams are easy to pass, if you pay attention in classes.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 330000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some companies offering internships are TCS, Mahindra, L&TMindtree, JP Morgan, Shell, Deutsche Bank, Amazon, Pwc, Deloitte, Dell, E&Y, Ford, Siemens, etc. I have no idea about the stipend offered.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for college placement from the 7th semester onwards. 95% of students were able to grab some or the other placement. I plan to pursue MS in CS in the United States of America after completing my BTech in Information Technology.

Fees and Financial Aid

3.3 lakh is my yearly tuition fee till 2026. The scholarships on site are namesake very few people get it. No on-campus jobs are available like the US. There is no fee hike for tuition fees. Your tuition fees would be the same throughout the four years.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called Oneirous and is conducted in September or October. Tech Fest is called Techideate and is conducted in March. Books and journals are available in the library. Amenities in the classroom include central ac and a projector. Sports facilities are available in college but not that active. Extracurricular activities occur at regular intervals. MUJ Central is the name of the website run by students. It is quite useful for freshers as it includes past year papers.

Admission

The counseling process is quite fair, in comparison with VIT. I took admitted in MUJ by appearing for the MET exam. The eligibility for BTech is a minimum of 50% in 10+2 (PCM). The application form and date for exams could be found on the MAHE site.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
