I was always interested in English literature so Cotton University seemed to be a good option for pursuing this course. The faculty-student ratio is 3:100. The professors are well-qualified and very helpful. The exams are held timely and yes, you will have to study a lot to pass these exams.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is around 40k. The fees might increase. You need to check the latest information. The scholarship is provided to the economically backward sections by checking the family's annual income.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Euphoria and trust me it is the best time of the year. You get to participate in a variety of events, sports. The library is huge and has almost all the books a student needs. The classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and everything

Admission

You need to clear CUET for admission to this college. The application forms will be available on their website. The admission is quite a hassle free as you just need to submit your marks and pay the admission fee. You will be notified if selected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

Our course is a new one called "Five Years Integrated Masters Program", shortly FYIMP. Also our curriculum is based on our capacity and needs. They are perfect. Not so difficult. Teaching methods are also great.

Placement Experience:

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers should be cut slack to maintain their mental health. They are not provided enough rest. The exam schedule are not at all managed properly. It is quite hectic and students fail to cope up with it

True aspects on a University

I choosed the college after my 12 th as I didn't want to lose this year at home studying online for any entrance. But fir sure I will be giving entrance fir other better college .
