The course curriculum is good. The faculty members are really supportive throughout the semester. Faculties are highly qualified. Exams are taken semester wise there are two mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam each semester.

Placement Experience

The college is really good. The students become eligible for placements in 7 th semester. Any companies like Exxon TCS Amazon come to colleges for placements the overall percentage for placement is 100 almost all the students get placed each year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The per year tuition fee is Rs.135000. There is no fee hike policy in college. Scholarships are provided by government to the eligible students. The internship opportunities are provided by the college and you yourself can can apply for the same.

Campus Life

The name of the annual fest is Adhyay and the name of the tech fest is Technica. Fests are generally conducted in April or May. About library, the students can issue books from the library. Classrooms are well-ventilated and well-equipped with Wi-Fi connections.

Admission

The admission process was very easy the admission was taken through JEE mains entrance exam. The reservation quota that I used was general EWS. Overall the admission process was very easy the admission was taken to JEE mains exam but the adjective has its own counseling process in which you have to apply.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
