Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was very interested in the IT field. As per the research I did I learned that Computer Science is the best course to get into an IT company. The faculties in the college were very supportive and friendly. They will be available for us even after our college timings, we can call them and clear our doubts.
Internships Opportunities
TCS, Microsoft, Amazon, EY, High Radius, Cognizant, and much more companies offered internships. Few companies offered stipends and few companies did not. Companies that offered stipends are about 1.5l-2l
Placement Experience
Right from my 6th semester, I was eligible for campus placements. TCS is the first company that I have attended and I got placed in that company. Tcs offers up to 8LPA, and 95% of the students got placed. After getting my degree I would like to perform well in the company I have placed and should get into higher positions as soon as possible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Vignan's University is one of the top private universities, where the cost of study is affordable. The college gives students a 100% fee waiver if the student has fulfilled all the criteria required for the concession. I was placed in TCS with a 3.5 LPA in my campus placements.
Campus Life
In this college, many fests happen here, mahotsav is the biggest event that happens for 3-5 days once in 3 years. One of more biggest events that happen here is Srujanankura which happens for 2-3 days every year. Apart from this, there are department-level fests that happen every year. We have the biggest library named NTR library where all the books were available and were arranged separately as per the courses.
Hostel Facilities
We have two types of rooms Non-AC and Deluxe rooms. There is a sports ground in the hostel which is common for both Non-ac and deluxe people. The food will be very delicious like our home food. They provide 4 meals. Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks in the evening, Dinner. This is very easy to get your registration done for the hostel.
Admission
Candidate must pass 10th and 12th with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 or above 55%. And AP EAMCET cutoff should be 15,000. We can find all the application details at www.vignan.ac.in. There we can find the application fees and application start and end dates. We can get scholarships based on our 10th and 12th marks, and based on the sports quota also we will get scholarships in this college.
