Overall, The BESC is an amazing college. Students are satisfied with the college they are in and social life here is amazing. This is a dream college for many and I'm lucky that I study in this college. College also has an anti-ragging squad, thereby providing security so it's students. Other than B.com, BESC offers a variety of courses to chose from. I'm a proud student of The Bhawanipur Education Society College.

For B.com (Hons), No Entrance exam is required, however there is a selection process the students have to go through. Students are selected on the basis of their academic performance.

According to me, B.com (Hons) is a course that provides the students with a braoder view of the real life business structures and taxation. This opens up the students' minds to think in a different way. And for this, Besc has a teaching staff that I guess no other colleges in the city have.

I'm currently studying in 2nd Year so I haven't experienced an Internship.However, this is a matter of concern for the College as I have never heard about Students doing internships provided by college.

Besc has it's own Placements' Cell that focusses on the recruitment of students. Major Companies like TCS, Deloitte have recruited students from our college. The average package varied between 4 to 4.5 lacs

The college organises a variety of events and fests every now and then. Umang, One of the best college fests is hosted by the Bhawanipur Education Society College. And throughout the year, college also organises competitive events where the other colleges from the citt are invited to participate.

The college has a freeship system for the Gujarati students. In this system, fees for the Gujarati Students is minimized to a nominal fee. However this is only for students who are not financially stable. Other students have to pay the normal charges applicable which are affordable for a normal citizen.

College provides freeship to Gujarati students who are financially weak. College also provides Scholarships to the merit listed students.

Yes, We get ample opportunities to showcase our talents. As mentioned above, College organises a lot of events for intra college as well as inter college.

No. I'm a resident of Calcutta and I live in Bhawanipur. Bhawanipur is an area which has a lot of PGs. However there aren't any hostels provided by the college.

There are mid term college exams and University exams only. There is no sort of pressure on the students for that matter.

The teaching staff is well experienced with some of the teachers teaching from more than 10 years now. Students find it easy to communicate or relate with the teachers of the college.
