Course Curriculum Overview
There are only a few colleges in Kerala that provides industrial biotechnology as a Mtech course. The intake for a batch is 20 students so the student-faculty ratio is well balanced. Most of the faculties are well experienced and are PhD holders and provide a good learning environment. They hold exams as per the university timetable and it was moderately easy for a student to pass
Placement Experience
Campus placement was not up to the mark for Mtech students but for btech students, there are a few companies accommodating them. especially for the biotechnology department, we have to pave our way all by ourselves.
Fees and Financial Aid
I felt the fees were huge for an average student to continue their studies unless he has qualified for GATE or any other scholarship exams. There are placements for UG programs but not many for PG programs. we should find details about scholarship exams all by ourselves.
Campus Life
Annual fests and tech fests are conducted regularly. they have a good collection of books and a huge library on campus. the classrooms are well-maintained and have good infrastructure. They have a good sports club and social club as well.
Admission
I got admission through management quota. As it was a payment seat, I directly approached the college administration for my admission. The process was not tedious as the original photocopies of certificates and passport-sized photographs are only needed
