Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in Computer science and engineering because it was a subject in our class 11th and 12th. Faculty to student ratio is quite decent, it's hard to tell the exact nos but faculties are supportive. They are very much qualified some even Ph.D. holders. Terms were not timely due to covid but an average student with little effort could pass.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, they become eligible. The students of VVIT have succeeded in establishing their identity as a new breed of winners in the academic and corporate world. Over the last few years, they have taken full advantage of emerging placement opportunities in the fast-growing service sector of the booming Indian Economy. Many reputed organizations like Walmart, Amazon, DBS, TCS, Wipro, Denso, Salesforce, Athena Health recruited our students. A total of 1327 placements were achieved with the highest package of 29 LPA (Walmart) in the A.Y 2021-22.
Fees and Financial Aid
College reserves all the rights of fee hike, the college tuition fee is 55,000 yearly with the cost of living it goes up to 1.1 lahks I am not very much aware of scholarships here or financial assistance As far as I heard from seniors you can get a good internship if you have a good resume.
Campus Life
We have a three-day college fest VIVA in the month of December we also have the tech fest in the month of July. All needed Books are pretty much available. The classrooms are decent. There is an official student representative council SAC. There are clubs for everything like culinary, coding, photography, and robotics.
Admission
Did give JEE Mains, and VITEE but couldn't clear those exams, I found out about my college through family relatives and I was only interested in CSE. I want the admission process should be more focused on making students choose the branches in which they are interested rather than just join because of the college name.
Other Applied Colleges
Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
