Remarks

The ones who want to learn extra curricular activities and who also wants to manage the course side by side, then this is the best stop for them.The classes have up-to-date technology.

Entrance Preview

For b.com (Hons) , there are no exams conducted. The selection of this college was done because of it's timings and also because of the faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

We are taken to The Computer Labs for our IT classes and the institute also takes examination by online basis. The practical learning is given the equal importance.

Internships Opportunities

Yes by the seniors I have heard that they provide internship. but I have not been for this internship so I don't know about the experience and also about the average stipend amount

Placement Experience

The e-cell placements are done by the institution. A hundred percent of placement is done by the institution. The companies are Tata, big bazaar, airlines. etc have visited the college for placements. I'm in second year right now so I don't know about the average package offered by the companies.

srijan is the biggest fest. Then there is Shree, E-cell vridi fest. Srijan has approximately 2000-5000 footfall. The college authority welcomes the guests warmly and the contribution is made by all the sponsors and the college management team.

The fees for B.com (Hons) is approximately Rs.44130 for the whole year. The tuition fees is 14500. Session fees - 10500 . Annual charge- 9500. Computer lab fees-6500. College magazine- 600 ECA charges-1500. University exam form and exam fees- 1020. Student health home fees-10

There are trainers for throwball, cricket and basketball in the college.

Exam Structure

No. this is a very chill culture. The mid terms are taken on online basis. The current b.com (Hons) of 3rd and 2nd year are following the old module of CU exams whereas the new batch of B.com (Hons) are following the new module of CU exams which comprises of GST and online examination

Each and every faculty is of top-notch. The doubts are cleared in the classes .The notes are provided and every book is available in the library. If the teacher does not have a period then we can go to the staff room and the teacher clears the doubt there itself.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
