Remarks

In our library all book are not available.There is no bad remarks of our college. In our college activity program do in twice in year. I was good experience in this College in first year. And also College gives tablet for 1st year student. Tablet was very good. Tablet real price is very costly but College gives us in only 1000 rupees.

Our entrance exam name gtu. It's full is Gujarat Technology University. There is online process of ACPC to land up this College. There no interview process here.

I chosen civil engineering. Civil Engineering student and faculty do practical twice in week, and other many types of practical we do in our subject lab.

Government Engineering College Palanpur has good placement scenario. 50% student got placed from this College. Big company are come in our college for placement.

Our college fee was 2100. It was low and affordable for me and other students. It was pay online by SBI , because student learn how to pay online fees.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

I applied for ld engineering and vishwakarma and more and I got in vishwakarma but I rejected it for government engineering college palanpur because it is more stress free than vishwakarma I applied for nit surat, iit Gandhinagar but I couldn't make it because of my low performance in jee The admission process is simple first you have to fill the acpc form than it will confirm your seat based on your grade than come to college with document and that's it and the eligibility is different every year but in my year it is based on acpc rank and jee mains rank Overall admission experience is little hard for me because it's my first time taking admission on my own so it is hard but with some instruction it is went well...Read More

Its Good

Bad: College campus is quite small as compared to other colleges. Hostel is not in college campus, its around 1Km away from it. Placements are not that good. Industrial visit don't happen very much. Chemical industry is in front of campus and that leaves a foul smell. Good: Because of campus residing away from city, there is no noise here. Faculty are co-operative....Read More
