Remarks

Overall college is best in each and every aspect and field in which it deals. Team work can be seen here as every department links itself to each other to work under different areas. Regular training sessions and guest lectures are given to students so that they have equally good knowledge on there subjects.

Entrance Preview

For getting admission in this college i cleared MAT xam. After I cleared MAT i got a call from college side for GDPI. I have just paid online form fee for this particular college. Currently I’m pursuing PGDM-IB in marketing field which I found no other college can provide with that quality.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was no so easy to select a course as everything depends on the selection you make. And JIMS is my career building platform. And my interest in International Business led me to pursue this course.

Internships Opportunities

College provides each individual student to have an experience in internship. For this a special site is being prepared by college and each student is provided with respective login ID and Password.

Placement Experience

The placement is satisfactory. Companies gives an average package of ₹6 lacks. Companies like Deloitte,TataAig,Amazon etc. comes for placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was affordable as compared to other private institutions. A sum of ₹6.3 lakhs is not so high amoung for a post graduation.

Exam Structure

This PGDM course is trimester basis so the knowledge grapping is more and also students don’t feel tired.

Faculty

If we talk about teaching staff JIMS have an excellent record in faculty with high standards of practical knowledge and clear vision of knowledge and helpful in every aspec. Their exposures to industry is good.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Good opportunity in JIMS

I applied for Rajagiri in Kerala and got into it, then was waiting for MHCET but the results kept on getting delayed, then I also got into JIMS, BIMTECH as well but due to budgetary issues and placements the best option was JIMS. I wanted to get into symbiosis but my Snap score wasn't that great. NMAT also my marks were good but not that good for taking admissions in top 3 colleges of narsee munji. The admission process of JIMS is very simple, you just have to apply through their website and pay the application fees, then you will get the mail for documents such as 10th, 12th marksheet, CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/SNAP (whichever is applicable), graduation certificate/degree, work experience certificate(in case), copy of application form and admit card for Campus tour, GD, PI process which happens on 1 day. For those living in Delhi and NCR can go and visit the campus for these process , and for those outside of DELHI NCR can give the process online. Within 2-3 days you will get the mail for the results. Then after few weeks you will have to pay 1st installment fees to secure you seat in that course....Read More

I got admission to 2 colleges IITM Janakpuri and Jims Rohini, and I opted for Jims because of the ranking + placement records, and more profound environment like it's known for PGDM so that alumnus is also very good. Which we can reach out to in future for professional guidance. I didn't get rejected as I only applied for 3-5 but 3 in which I didn't get admit is because their cutoff of IPUCET is 600-700 and my score is 1005.
