Remarks

Only one thing I would like to say that overall it's a good college but it can be a very good institution if they care a lot more about the non Telugu speaking students in their classes.

Entrance Preview

I got Admission on the basis of my AIEEE score.I am from Guwahati and after my 12th exams I was wondering which college to join for engineering,so I started attending educationa fairs held in my city, there I got to know about this college. No there wasn't any interview process. When I was in my class 9 I read a magazine where there was an article about silicon valley. The stories of Microsoft,Apple,Xerox and others inspired me a lot and from then I thought of studying about computers and technology and thus I choose to study Computer science and engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course I choose was very good as the faculty of my course was highly qualified and experienced.Practicals were given very much importance and every day there used to be labs. The labs were also equipped with latest equipment and technology. TCS and Microsoft had open a research institute inside the campus and everyone interested in research can have the opportunity to pursue it.

Internships Opportunities

No the college didn't provide any internship or training to our branch students. We did online internships and some did internships by themselves.

Placement Experience

3

Placements were good for few branches like CSE,IT,ECE,EEE, Mining.Apart from these branches the other branches had less placements.Around 60% of the students got placed. TCS,Wipro,HCL,Unisys, Capgemini,Techmahindra,Dell were the major companies. 2.4 lakhs p.a was the average package.

College Events

4

Every branch used to have their own technical fests which normally happens for 2to3 days. The technical fests had many seminars, workshops, and competitions with a huge prize money. Maitri was the cultural fest that used to held every year in the month of January for four days. Every year the college used to held a HR summit for the students to get direct interaction with the HR s from various other companies. The college authorities along with the students equally contribute in smooth handling and functioning of the fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was very much affordable for every one. The semester fees was 50000 rupees for us. and the yearly fees was 100000 rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

A scholarship was provided to students who are economically weak or who provides a scholarship certificate from their state government. No I didn't had any scholarship. Yes the college has tie-ups with some banks so they helps in providing loans too if needed.

Campus Life

3.5

In terms of extracurriculars the college authorities were good as they allow the students to excel in every field be it in sports, music, acting or any other. They never kept any hurdles in front of the students.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes,I was in hostel for the entire 4 years.there were double sharing and three sharing rooms with AC and non AC facility. No they didn't have PGs.At our time hostel fees was 50000 per year including food and accommodation. Food was above average and they had separate mess for North and South Indian students.

Alumni/Alumna

This one field the college needs to work on as the college doesn't have a proper platform for the students to get interacted with their alumnis.

Exam Structure

Labs were pretty much held every day and yes sometimes the exams and labs were held frequently which did made us tired.

Faculty

3

Teachers were highly qualified and every one was having an experience of 5-25 years in teaching. The lab assistant, the subject teachers and specially the HODs were very much interactive and friendly.they clearly understood the students and their problems. Standard of teaching was good but if you are an non Telugu speaker then in few subjects in the first year you might experience some problems as the teacher s normally use Telugu language to teach apart from that from second year the teachers were very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
