Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is quite simple but regular quizzes and assignments make it more hectic. Most of the faculty members are helpful. I've chosen this course only because of my college fascination, as I wanted to get into IIT Delhi.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship offers made to students by various good companies, in different roles including consulting, tech, quant, IT, analytics, and more. Companies like Jane Street, Optiver, Google, Adobe, JPMC, and Goldman Sachs visit here for internships.
Placement Experience
The placements here are very well. Most of the students get placed at the end at some descant and good companies. Various offers are made to the students by various good companies including Google, Microsoft, Optiver, Goldman Sachs, and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure is dependent on one's annual family income. If someone's annual family income is low then the tuition fee is also less for them, and accordingly. The tuition fee per year for someone whose family income is above 5 lacs per annum is about 2 lacs. But there are many government and alumni-funded scholarships provided by colleges.
Campus Life
Rendezvous is IIT Delhi's annual cultural fest whereas TRYST is an annual technical fest. Both the fest here are organized on a very large scale. The library here is very large and has a large number of books. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. There are many groups and different clubs on campus.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are comfortable and the accommodation varies from hostel to hostel. As many of the hostels have single seater rooms whereas many have double or triple sharing rooms. Meal quality is okayish, as we find it repetitive but mess food is hygienic and healthy.
Admission
Eligibility: One needs to appear for JEE Mains and needs to qualify for JEE Advanced, IITs are allotted based on the result of JEE Advanced. JEE Mains is conducted by NTA(National Testing Agency, MHRD India) whereas JEE Advanced is conducted by IITs itself. The application and examination process is simple.
