Hectic full of work and stress

College is above average and I would rank it as in Top 40 colleges of India bmsce being on 40th position.Its a descent college to study your engineering and you can make a lot out of it but you have to work hard on it

Comedk was my mode of admission there are other modes of getting into bmsce.One is Comedk second is CET exam which only Karnataka domicile students can appply to and then comes management quota for which you will have to contact office

The course was moderately good enough to prepare me as an instrumentation engineer.There are lots of research initiatives that are being taken by teqip and with the help of department and trust co operation things are going good. There are lots of cool elective on machine learning and artificial intelligence although much focus is on bookish teaching rather than real learning

Yes a lot of them like Honeywell Amadeus labs macafee and McKinsey and many more were there which provided internship.The current trend of placements is that companies provide you internship first because they even want to test you before they hire you.

Placements about bmsce is the best thing.Im in my final year so I'm quite eligible to answer this.IS/CS students are almost eligible for every company.mathworks ,Amazon ,Flipkart ,honeywell,Samsung,Abb,delloite,directi, endurance,nutanix,EY ,Robert Bosch ,hp,and the list of top notch companies that visit campus continues.

Utsav is the main fest of bmsce apart from that we have phaseshift as our technical fest which is above average level fests .Civil engineering and many other keep celebrating their own fest like Nirmaan and a lot of clubs are highly active ones

157000 for Comedk fir general category and some 40000 for cet students.It might be even lower than that I'm not too sure about it.There is some union territory quota also where the fees is barely minimum and the college also takes admission based on Jee main marks.If you're anyways above than 135 you can get in bmsce

Yes they provide scholarship to top 3 students from every branch and there are financial aid available for students based on their parental income and some sc/st /ph scholarship are also available

Sports in bmsce right now is in vain since a new building was constructed on the colleges only ground.football is very famous here along with basketball

I didnt stayed in hostel but I can tell you hostels are descent there are single and double rooms twin sharing basis available but you can get single rooms only if you're in 4th year.I have personally never tasted the hostels mess food but I have heard it's not too bad not too good as you would expect from an engineering College mess

We have an alumni centre which takes care of the alumni days events and organises events like alumni meet and keeps record about them but they are not very functional

Yes exams do happen very often once you reach second year .There are 3 internal + 2 quizzes + labs + 2 self study projects(mini till 6th sem and then 2 major in 7tha ne 8th sem ) + lab internal + AAT + other mooc courses and what not

Faculty in some department are very good like mechanical and electrical as they are mainly core engineering branches and were established quite back then when bmsce started in 1950's .Some are MTech and PhD holders who have written Atleast more than 1 papers however there are quite a few teachers with only MTech degree without any published journal.Teachers are not very friendly until you end up spending a lot of time in college Atleast till 3rd sem coz 1st year teacher don't really care about you
