Remarks

College is good.. you can't compare it with IIT or top Nits.But a good government college comparable to mid and Lower Nits.

Entrance Preview

I gave Jee mains 2017. I land up through jac Chandigarh counselling process. There wasn't any interview. My interest in the field made me choose the course.

The course is good. College offers many opportunities and events to prove yourself. Never miss any workshop or other events.

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't provide any internship. You have to searcg yourself for opportunities. I didn't have any internship but yes many senior had thier internship in reputed companies. But for that you have to work by your own.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is decent. Many companies visits the campus with around 90% students getting placed. Major companies are Paytm, I focus, Jugnoo. Average package is around 5 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

80000 per annum. 40000 per semester Affordable fee i guess. College provides many Scholarship so don't worry. Hostels are very cheap and affordable too.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room are ok.. I didn't like them so i opted for a flat.

Faculty is great. The thing i love about them is their interaction with students. You will get to learn many new things. Just don't mess with the computer mam , she is so pain in the ass.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
