Not very happy with the experience.

College is very strict. You have to follow dress code. There are timings for entering and leaving college you can't just go and come whenever you want. You have to maintain 85% attendance.

I wrote COMEDK and through that I got admission in BNMIT. You can also apply through CET or management.My fees is around Rs 160000 just for tuition fee. Other expenditures like living and food are not included.

BNMIT comes under VTU. So the Syllabus is being decided by the VTU only. For my batch syllabus is very old and it's not at all good. But for juniors they have changed the Syllabus which seems to be bit ok at least better than our syllabus. We have ample of electives but our college don't provide all of them. They provide very few of them based on the no. Of students requesting for.

College don't provide any internship. You have to find internship on your own. And if you find one for you you have to take out time for your internship apart from the college. Because college won't provide any attendance for that.

This year the placements are not good as of now.(December 2017) Colleges which were below bnmit in ranking are doing much better in placements. Companies are not coming in good quantity with good packages. And even if they are coming they are not taking any student.

There are few events like tatva it's our college festival. It includes Various events like gaming, quiz, coding and many more. If you are good at singing and dancing kalabhagirathi is for you.

1,60,000 college fee per annum. This includes tuition fee and other stuffs like library and all. 45,000 hostel fee per annum. 4,000 mess fee per month.

Scholarship is only for CET students. There's nothing for Comedk students.

Kalabhagirathi is for extracarricular enthusiasts , I am not very much fond of these things so I didn't participate In any of these. But I have heard that there people do partiality . They do discrimination based on your region like north indian and south indian.

Both boys and girls hostel is very hygienic. But boys hostel is 4KM away from the college campus. Girls hostel is in campus only. For boys returning timing is 8pm For girls returning timing is 7pm Food in both the hostels not good.

If you have contact form the beginning with your seniors then only it's possible. Else college don't provide any facility like student-alumni interaction.

In BNMIT any teacher will get to teach any subject irrespective of their specialization. So you can not expect much from the teachers. Not all teachers are bad. There are few teachers who are good at what they are teaching. But most are not good. At the end you have to prepare by yourself for the exam.
