Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it had a well-structured curriculum and experienced faculty members. The faculty: student ratio was 1:20, so the professors had ample time to interact with students. The faculty members were highly qualified and their teaching methods were effective. The term exams were timely and fair, but they required hard work to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities were available with a lot of companies. Some of the companies that offered internships were Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. The roles offered under internships varied from software development to data analysis. The stipend varied depending on the company and the role. The projects offered as part of the internship were challenging and helped us gain practical knowledge.
Placement Experience
The placements were great! Students became eligible for campus placements in the 6th semester. A lot of companies visited the campus and offered a good number of offers. The highest package was around 12 LPA and the average package was around 5 LPA. A lot of companies visited and offered diverse profiles to the students. A good percentage of students got placed. As for my plans after getting the degree, I am planning to pursue higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was reasonable, but there was a slight hike in the fees every year. The cost to study was manageable. I received a scholarship based on merit and financial assistance based on my family's income. I also got an on-campus job as a research assistant which helped me earn a stipend.
Campus Life
Life at the campus was exciting! We had a great social life with a lot of clubs and activities to choose from. The annual fest was conducted in December and the tech fest was held in March. The library had a good collection of books and journals. The classrooms were equipped with modern amenities. There were a lot of sports and extra-curricular activities on campus which kept us engaged. Students ran a lot of social groups, clubs, and websites to help everyone stay connected.
Hostel Facilities
I didn't stay in the hostel, but I rented a room in a PG in the locality. The room was fully furnished and had all the necessary facilities. The meal quality and menu were good and healthy. The registration process for the hostel was simple and affordable. As for the PG, it was located in a good locality with easy access to public transportation.
Admission
The admission process is very easy. There is a good scope for getting good placements in our college. The highest package of our college is 48 lakhs. The average package of our collies is 7 lakhs. Every year 500+ companies will visit our college. I feel like this is the best place to showcase your talent.
