Attendance leniency, we are not restricted to the 75% criteria of Attendance
Campus Greenery, the campus is green and there are lots of trees here

Dislikes

Annual Cultural Fest 'Aakshank' is no more organized
College politics between Hostelers and Day Scholars
Faculties don't give permission to organize events easily

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is decent and it is on reform, we are being taught about the latest technologies in the field of AI and IT. The faculties are average, they have a sound knowledge on their familiar subject but due to the announcement of new subjects, they face difficulty in teaching.

Internships Opportunities

Majorly the internships are offered at the time of placement only, no summer internships are offered at the Institute. Companies like Accenture, ZS Associates, Deutsche Bank, TCS, Z Scaler offer placements at the Institute.

Placement Experience

Campus placements have degraded due to the contemporary recession in the Tech Industry. You become eligible for campus placements in your 7th Semester of study. The average package goes around 5-6 LPA. The placement stats were high before recession.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is pretty less compared to other institutes, normally one is charged around 83 K per year for B. Tech. Students needing financial assistance opt for Tuition Fee Waiver which reduces the yearly fees to 43 K.

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty good, there are a lot of clubs but the most relevant and active club is The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell), it conducts most of the Technical and Cultural activities in the Institute.

Hostel Facilities

There are four hostel buildings, the quality of rooms is not much good, renovation has not happened since a long time. The hostel charges are nominal, it costs around 22 K per year to stay in the campus hostels.

Admission

The admission criteria is decided on the basis of the score at JEE Mains Examination, then the college and branch is allotted after the counselling of MP DTE. The cutoff is highly dependent on the criteria and quota applicable to the individual.

after the completion of third year students become eligible for campus placements companies which visit are infosys cisco tata amazon and many more highest package for 2024 was 52 lpa and the average package is 11 LPA 60-70% students gget placed after my degree i plan to get a solid 9-5 job earning a decent living of my life and serving my parents

We have domains and certain denomination in placements like 6 figure denomination for top performing students as they get placements in excess of 10 lakhs. Average as of last year median is around 7 lakhs for electrical branch students.

Placement Experience:

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

I applied many colleges like sgsits indore, mits gwalior and iet davv and according to my rank sgsits ece branch is unavailable for me,so I choose this college. After counseling we have to visit in college with some documents which is already given in college website and allotment letter. There is limited seats in hostel so first come and get hostal. I had Applied in various colleges. I was getting jc Jabalpur Engineering College, but the condition of Jaunpur miram college is really bad, and I didn't feel the areas safe, and also it is in the place which is much farther than my own house, so it's somewhere. Create a sense of insecurity inside me , whereas indore Is the business capital of MP Madhya Pradesh and DPV is the second best college in Madhya Pradesh? I was getting RGI PT too, but again the distance problem, and it was not into my interest. One of the things of taking this college was the branch that I was getting, that is CS BS that really facilitates her. College provides good placement opportunities and great crowd to interact with

At my rank in JEE this was the best option I choose. And I never regret being a part of this college and a part of this branch. The placement opportunities as well as the average city of this branch is very good.
