- The main thing I liked about SNIST is encouragement towards sports and extra circular activities.
- The campus infrastructure is very good.The architecture of the campus captivating.
- Another interesting thing about the campus is it's environment.The college is surrounded by a whole canopy of large and high tress.
Dislikes
- The main I disliked about the college is that there is no wifi connection for every classroom.
- The availability of the books in the library is very low There are not enough types of books available.The management must take steps to eradicate this.
- Another thing I dislike about the campus is that there is no proper cellular network in campus grounds.The network facilitation must improve.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for information technology is easy to moderate.In SNIST the student to teacher is 1:6 which means there will be a teacher for every six students.So one can expect a good teaching from the faculty.Exams will be conducted for every 4 months.There will be ample time for the preparation.
Internships Opportunities
Students get to work in internships from sixth semester onwards.Companies like Infosys, Microsoft ,Wipro , Pega Sysytems , Adobe , Amazon , etc come for campus recruitments.So students will most probably get palcer from the campus placement drives.
Placement Experience
The placements for my college are good.The highest package hits the mark of 35,00,000 per annum.Annually there is an increase in the percentage of students getting on campus placements.Stydents graduated from SNIST need not opt for higher education as they will get palcer easily on campus interviews.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course for every year is1,30,000.But if your rank is below 10,000 in EAMCET you will get a fees reimbursement of 35,000 from government side.You have to maintain 75 percentage of attendance for every semester if you want to avail fees reimbursement from government side.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of our college area covers 35 acres.There will be a fest in every semester namely ADASTRA and RIGOLADE.Studenta get to enjoy in the fests as munch as they enjoy in the classroom activities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility for from the college side is very bad.The food in the hostel does not the match the fees paid.Students have to pay additional fees of 1,000 for dhobi(washermen). Students have wide range of hostels near the campus which are way far better than the college provided hostel.
Admission
I got the seat in SNIST from EAMCET entrance exam.I was alloted a seat in course of information technology which is the best choice I had as of my EAMCET rank.I didn't get any reservation benefits from government as I belong to general category.
