4 years long dream

I personally liked the overall academic system. The marking system, attendance criteria to become eligible for external exam, special classes for personality development etc.

There was no particular entrance exam for admission, but there was a compulsory entrance exam which every shuld have to give after 12th board exam. The exam was JEE main i.e. Joint entrance exam , which is particlar for admissions in IIT. But it was mandatory to give in order to get admission in any institute or University. It got admission through a process called ACPC. There was no interview process. If u are eligible through merit, you get admission. I chose the one because I was interested in that course. My base was also powerful towards that field.

The core of the course was based on chemicals. As I was interested in that field, it was fun learning. The focus on practical learning and theoretical learning was equal. University gave equal importance to both. But there was no research initiative taken by the institute. If a student is interested for research, department is supportive forvthe same. The course contains some elective sunjects too. So the load of student of learning all subjects will decreas and focus on the interested field.

If a student want to do internship in any company, he is permitted from the college. But if a student dont have any choice, than the college would refer a company for the student. I have done internship on my own and my experience was very nice.

The record for placement in our college was better than any other colleges. There was criteria of 50% average percentage to be eligible for placement. Many of the students who deserve placements would get placed. Many well known companies like TCS, Infosys, L&T etc. visit the campus. Average package was 3lacs/annum.

Every year many events were organised in our university. There were both technical and non technical fests. Our technical fest was called PROJECTIONS and non technical fest was called DHOOM. Both of them were beautifully and well organised. Some famous celebrities were invited every year in the fest. They goes housefull every year.

The fee structure is reasonable and nearby same with other colleges. Tution fee of University was ₹35000 / sem. There were additional fees like personality development fess, facility fees. In first sem, there was also deposit fess, which would be given after completion of course.

The college provides scholarships to the students who overcome there criteria like percentage in 12th board. I didnt got any scholarship as my marks were below the criteria. I dont know about loan as none ofy classmates need for the same.

Every fest includes some extracurricular programmes. University also encourage students for participating in external programmes. Facilities were also supportive.

I was a local student. But I know something about my university's hostel. The rooms were sharing of 3. There was A.C. as well as non A.C. rooms. Some of my friends ere staying as PGs. I dont remember the fees structure. But it was around ₹45000/ year including food. Like every other hostels, food was okay.

University gives there 100% for the development of the college as well as students.

Our exam system was a bit different and good. We would have test every Monday, which makes us learn whatever taught in a week. This system would decrease the load of learning everything during end same exam. The experiments were also interesting which wont make us tired at the end of the day.

Many of the faculties were qualified with master degrees in a well known institutes like IITs, NITs. Some of the faculties were freshers and mamy of them were having experience of teaching. They were very much interactive and were ready to give there best in order to make students understand.
