Life at Gandhinagar Institute of Technology

I choose computer Engineering because from class 9th I want to become a software developer to create new apps and programs. I'm at Gandhinagar Institute of Technology which is currently Gandhinagar University, all facilities are very humble and good in teaching, they are providing the material that they taught us in class, and they replied immediately within 3 to 4 hours to your mail or query. In our college Mid Sem Exam taken before final sem examination. This Mid Sem Exam of 30 marks combined with a final exam of 70 marks in the result.

In sem 7 students have to do an Internship and be eligible for placement in the last year. When I got admission to college, in the previous year students one gets placement in byjus at 10 lahks per annum, and another also get placement of 8 lahks per annum. The average package is 3 to 4 lack. I don't know more about which companies are visited here, but 80% to 90% of students got placed who sitted in an interview. I want to job in TCS after completing my degree.

I'm in Gandhinagar institute of Technology which comes under GTU, our yearly fees are 62000 rs. In one year there are 2 semesters, so each semester's fees will be 31000. But now our college became University so, it has its own fees of about 68000rs. Per year. You have to pay this fee semester-wise to online SBI, University send a mail to inform you start and last date of paying fees. After that penalty of 50rs. Per week applied. You can get a MYSY scholarship in which you can get half of the yearly fees back. also if you staying in a hostel than you can get 12000rs. Every year and book charge 5000rs for 1 year only. For this scholarship, you have to be more that 80 percentile in 12th. And after 1 time you get this scholarship you can renew it next time if you have not any backlog or KT in previous exams. Also, CMSS scholarship is you can get, check on the site CMSS. Also, you can get Bhojan Bill shahay yojna in which if you are staying in Hostel that you will get 15000rs Per year.

In our college Gandhinagar University, Annual function celebrated named Jazba at the end of the year, in the last year 2022 - the Winter Dark Flame function was celebrated in December, also Darshan Raval and Nidhi Agarwal also came and perform. Here a huge library, books, and journals are available at any time you want. Also, sports and extracurricular activities occur in our college, in winter impulse games also occur in which students coordinate different games like 100meter races, chess, carrom, cricket, volleyball, ring throw, etc.

The admission process is too long in time range but it is easy. I gave an exam named GUJCET, and the ACPC Merit Rank was calculated by 40% of the GUJCET percentile and 60% of the 12th Gujarat Board Percentile. After getting a merit rank from ACPC I participated in a mock round to check which college is suitable for my rank for me. After the mock round, I clearly think that in which college I can get admission. After the mock round 1st round started and in that I received Gandhinagar Institute of Technology in the Computer Engineering branch. If you want to tack admission in college that is given to you by ACPC Merit Rank then you can pay fees of 20000rs. In online mode to ACPC that it will generate Admission Letter and with this letter, you can go to the college and tack admission by paying the remaining fees of sem 1 after cutting 20000rs. Previously paid to ACPC.
