Well for a hostellers we have a compulsory Bio metric attandece in night .and the entry in hostel is only upto 9:00pm. Also if you want to go out for trips u have to file a leave request .which will be approved by your Procter after he talks to your parents . Bad for students good for parents.

I wrote the VITEEE 14 Exam to enter into Vit. Since I was not having good JEE mains marks. I chose the next best option available i.e Vit Vellore.I choose mechanical engineering as my course since I always wanted to be a mechanical engineer.

The course curriculum is very good here the availability of FFCS ( fully flexible credit system) allows me to make my own timetable and choose a teacher for myself. There are lots of research going on in VIT.

No, u have to do an internship on your own. Vit provides some opportunities but mostly unpaid ones and mostly in IT and CS sector so mechanical student have to mostly look for their own also there is 2 credit for it so it is compulsory.

Two biggest fest in VIT are Gravitas and Rivera Gravitas is a technical event for 3 days and Rivera is cultural event. Both are for 4days . Rivera is quite big event many cricket players have came for inauguration and Bollywood stars and singers as guest or performers .also vit music fashion cultural clubs do there performance in the night shows. also many stalls made by different clubs are her for fun games .

The fee structure changes nearly each year. So you can see the latest figure on Vit official website. For me it cost nearly 5lakhs.

Yes, the college provides scholarship .no I was not able to avail any. Yes at the start of admission many bank stalls be there in campus to provide loans.

Extracurricular activities are mostly done by clubs and chapter on large scale for students and there are provision for swimming , cricket coaching gym and a large outdoor stadium. Also tennis basketball courts are in ample throughout the campus.

Yes I am residing in hostel . Rooms are available from single bed ac, non AC upto 6 bed sharing room. At end of every year there is room counseling to get new room. Food quality is good in mess of most of the catering . Rooms cost RS 60000 for 1 bed ac and Rs 20000 for 6 bed non AC For a year. Mess also 69000 For special mess to 49500 for south veg mess.

Well there is a proctor for every student to help him in any problem. 1 Procter have nearly 40 student under him of a particular year. And also Procter meeting is compulsory to give Exams .Also most of the teacher are happy to help if approached.

There are 3 quizzes 2 Cat( continues assessment test) and one term end.Also there is 1project in each semester in each subject to be done.

Most of the faculty are good some are more strict than other but you can avoid them because of FFCS . You can talk to your seniors to know more about which teachers to choose in course registration. Although u might not always get what you want since every student might be trying to get that professor and. There are limited seats for 1 (60 student) Prof.
