Course Curriculum Overview
My main reason to opt for BIT Sindri is that the course structure of this college is very low and there is a high return rate on course fees to placement package especially for core students. Furthermore, this is an old and established college with a good reputation all over India. The faculty-to-student ratio is good in this college and special care will be provided if any student personally approaches any professors. All professors are well-qualified and dedicated to their work. Their teaching methods are up to the mark and consistent with your requirements. The exams and timely conducted under the guidance of JUT and pretty easy to pass if you have worked well through your semester.
Placement Experience
The placement condition of BIT Sindri is good as almost all students get placed every year with an average package of 7 to 8 lakhs per annum. Various companies attend placement ceremonies such as Tata, Samsung, Vedanta, Accenture, L&T, and many more. In the year 2023, the highest placement was up to 20 lahks per annum on campus and up to 50 lakhs per annum off campus. Up to 800 offers were made. Students can start getting placed in the final year of their college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of BIT Sindri is very low. The fee structure is provided on the website of the college where you can go and view it. Here college does not any direct scholarship to the students but provide them with enough support for other scholarship such as FFE band Simens Some financial leverage is provided to TWS quota students and girls during admission.
Campus Life
BIT Sindri provides you with a well-established library with enough books from various branches as well as some competition books of GATE and CAT as well. There are many clubs in school such as HNCC, IETE, LEO, MODEL, ISTE, ROTARACT and others. These clubs are dedicated to various fields ranging from coding to arts to social services. They provide space for students to explore themselves and improve their skills. There is a Sports Club in the college that conducts cricket tournaments and volleyball matches as well. There is a large college ground where you can play different sports.
Hostel Facilities
BIT Sindri provides you with a Hostel facility in which Rs 9500 is needed per year for all students from the first year to the fourth year. In each room, five students are accommodated in the first year while four are in the second year. You will get a single-room facility in the final year as well. In the hostel, there is a mess facility provided which costs Rs 4000 per month which may fill too high for someone. The quality and quantity of food in the college mess is up to the mark. The registration process for the hostel will be done during admission time. If you are not interested in living in a college hostel then you can opt to live in rented rooms which are within walking distance from the college gate.
Admission
Admission into BIT Sindri is done through JCECEB counselling in which your JEE Mains result is required along with which you should be a resident of the state of Jharkhand. The application form is issued by JCECEB after JEE Mains result has been announced. After filling in this form a merit list will be released after which choice filling is done and then counseling occurs. In BIT Sindri special reservation is provided to SC, ST and TWS students which you can view on the JCECEB website. The admission procedure is smooth so I think there are no major changes that are required to be done.
