Mixed one

Nah I think I have said everything ,and yes since our college is surrounded by trees it feels really refreshing plus our college has it's own cricket field , football field ,tennis court , basketball ground ,gym ,I got to know our cricket field is larger than chinnaswammy stadium here in Bangalore ,my overall experience here is again mixed , college is not bad at all and it isn't that great

I gave the exam of consortium of medical engineering and dental colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK),in the counseling process I got this college, there was no interview process conducted,I have chosen information science branch as this college has good placement record in is and cs plus you have silicon valley in Bangalore ,so it's a big boost for it sector,plus I always wanted to take cs.

Still I m in first year ,so I am studying all the subjects right now like civil, mechanical, electrical,the college doesn't focus more on practical learning ,main intention of the teachers are to finish up the syllabus as fast as they can ,there are no research initiatives taken by institute till now

No college doesn't provide any internship at all ,students themselves have to look for internship around Bangalore or they have to look online for internship opportunities ,I really don't know what's the avg stipend amount students get ,but I do know some are doing internships from slicepay , free charge

Placement here is really good for cs,is ,ece I mean ratio is more than 90%, mechanical, civil and others don't have that good placement here , companies like Amazon ,tcs, cognizant , Accenture and many more visit here ,the highest package for cs here last year was around 16 lakhs and 9 lakhs for is

There are fests like kalanjali and verve which are conducted in our college ,they are not that big though

It's around 2 lakhs per annum plus hostel is quite cheap (66,000) per year as compared to other colleges in Bangalore ,all colleges in Bangalore follow the same fee structure as set by comedk or kcet and every college have different fees for management quota

No scholarship provided , college has a bank in which we can avail loan

Yes I reside in hostel ,no every room in our unit is 2 sharing ,rooms here are small but are nice, as I told earlier I paid 66,000 for an year which is seriously cheap as compared to other colleges in Bangalore,food quality is again mixed sometimes they give good food sometimes food quality is shit

Yes a lot ,I mean you have to give internals every month plus assignments for every internal ,in doing lab works we don't get time for self study ,it's seriously stressful ,we don't get a lot of free time it's very limited ,as per vtu our internals consists of 40 marks ,so we can't take internals lightly at all

The faculty here are highly qualified ,our physics hod has done Ms from USA and rest others have also got post graduate degree like m tech ,mba, some teachers are very interactive but some don't care as well, standard of teaching is mixed ,I mean some teachers lectures are so boring you will feel like sleeping in the class ,some teachers divert from the topic they are teaching and start talking on other topics ,one or two teach exceptionally well
