I cracked my 12th class and GUJCET for getting my admission. I also cracked AIEEE but that is not necessary for getting admission getting into mechanical field was always one of my dream and so I choose mechanical above all others but I had specific interest in it. There was nothing like an interview for getting admission but you do have to meet the minimum requirements.

The course is offered by one of the prestigious university of Gujarat i.e GTU and the course structure is well detailed and no subject is compromised as far as mechanical field is concerned. There are couple of projects during last year the teaching faculties are equipped with great skills and detailed knowledge with masters in their respective field. Some are with doctrate.

During last year of my course around 20 companies came for the internship many companies were MNC's while some were local naming few of them L&T, Elecon Engineering, Adani Group etc. They were offering intial training and few of then were offering stipend.

Lots of companies came for job placement during my last year. Almost 60-70% of my mates were placed in various companies with good pay scale.

Over the four years of course there are 3 big technical festivals are organised during each year. Also several small ones are also there between colleges of same zone so I can say there are plenty of events during each year.

There are three hostels all over two of them are for boys and one for girls common canteen for all with great quality of food and varieties of food every day with special menus on weekends. I would give the food 8/10.

Loans are not available but few scholarships are available for backward class students Its around 35000 for entire course.

Gender ratio is around 6:4 for boys and girls respectively parties are only organised after events held at the institute. However, the institute is full of diverse students coming from all over the state.

Seniors are always ready to help their juniors and keen to work with them every department organise some regular meeting of juniors and seniors once or twice a month to keep good bonding among the students.
